Trevor has led multi-million-dollar custom home builds from start to finish, managing teams, budgets, and schedules with a strategic and hands-on approach for General Contractors. He is skilled in project planning, forecasting, and problem-solving, and is known for his ability to lead teams through complex challenges while maintaining focus on quality and client satisfaction.
Before entering the construction industry, Trevor served in the U.S. military as a Senior Director of Medical Operations within a highly specialized unit. There, he led cross-functional teams, developed operational strategies, and trained personnel to perform at the highest levels under pressure. His background instilled a deep commitment to leadership, adaptability, and mission-focused execution; qualities he brings to every project at Rusin.
With over 11 years at Rusin Concrete, Staci Calderon has been instrumental in driving the company’s growth across both the residential and commercial markets. As Vice President of Business Development, she leads strategic initiatives that support client partnerships, business operations, and marketing efforts across all sectors of the company.
Staci’s background in marketing and advertising, paired with her operational expertise has helped position Rusin as a respected leader in the construction industry. She holds a B.A. in Marketing Communications with an emphasis in Advertising from CSU Fullerton, and uses that foundation to craft targeted marketing campaigns, elevate community outreach, and strengthen client relationships.
Staci also serves as the Chair for Rusin's Community Outreach Committee in addition to serving on the Board of Directors for HBA Cares, reflecting her strong commitment to community engagement and industry leadership.
Erik is a visionary force behind Rusin Concrete Construction, which he co-founded in 1997 alongside his brother after relocating to Colorado. With deep roots in the construction industry, their journey began in childhood, working alongside their father and gaining invaluable knowledge of concrete and construction.
Starting with residential projects, Erik quickly established long-term partnerships with builders and tradespeople across the region. His hands-on approach and tenacity have shaped the company into the respected entity it is today. Known for his "get-it-done" attitude, he combines a passion for construction with a genuine love for building relationships.
Over the past 27+ years, Erik has been dedicated to serving the Colorado community and the industry. As Chief Operating Officer, Jonathan Thomson brings over a decade of leadership experience in the construction industry, with a specialized focus on structural concrete and sustainable building practices. Jonathan is known for his ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, foster strong client relationships, and drive growth through operational efficiency and innovation. His expertise spans the full construction lifecycle, from pre-construction planning and estimating to project execution and closeout. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design with an emphasis in Sustainable Architectural Planning from the University of Colorado Boulder. With over 30 years of experience in human resources, Julie has been a cornerstone of Rusin Concrete Construction since joining in May 2016. As HR Director, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the company, playing a critical role in shaping and implementing key processes, hiring top talent, and ensuring the company’s compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Her deep understanding of HR operations is reflected in her work developing effective systems to support employee growth, maintain company culture, and optimize workforce efficiency. Kirk has been an implementor behind Rusin Concrete Construction, which he co-founded in 1997 alongside his brother after relocating to Colorado. Kirk has been a driving force for many years playing a key role in the company’s growth and success across multiple sectors. With a hands-on approach and a deep understanding of concrete construction, Kirk has been instrumental in expanding the company’s commercial business unit.
He has been pivotal in taking strategic initiatives and translating them into actionable plans, ensuring that the company’s goals are achieved efficiently. Since joining Rusin Concrete Construction in 2009, Jerry has brought a wealth of financial expertise and visionary leadership to the team. With over twenty-five years of experience at the helm of a leading CPA and management consulting firm he co-founded, Jerry established himself as a trusted advisor in the real estate and construction sectors. Under his guidance, the firm grew to become the third largest in Colorado Springs, providing innovative tax and business solutions tailored to the unique challenges of its clients.
As an active real estate investor, Jerry applies his insights to several ventures within the industry, ensuring they thrive in a competitive market. His leadership extends beyond Rusin Concrete, as he holds positions on various boards for trade and charitable organizations and contributes to local and state economic development initiatives. His dedication to community service has earned him numerous accolades, including the 2010 El Paso County Community Leader of the Year award.

Josh holds BS degree in both Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering from the University of Missouri and serves on the Board of Directors for the Colorado Springs Home Building Association.
Josh has expertise in all facets of concrete construction, including residential home building, elevated structural and podium decks, tilt-up, pre-cast, and post-tension systems, Josh ensures that each project is completed to the highest standards. His leadership and technical knowledge are instrumental in driving the success of Rusin Concrete Construction and our customers.
Kevin has been a key member of the leadership team at Rusin Concrete Construction for the past two years. As Controller, he plays a crucial role in managing the company’s financial operations, overseeing accounting functions, and ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting. Kevin holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting and an MBA in Finance, both from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. Before joining Rusin Concrete, he spent 12 years as Controller and Director of Finance at various government contractors. His experience in these roles has equipped him with a deep understanding of financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance, all of which he leverages to support the company’s financial goals.

With over 27 years of experience in the construction industry, Mike has spent 15 years at Rusin Concrete, serving in various positions of the Commercial Division. In his current role as Operations Manager, Mike oversees the entire project lifecycle, ensuring that all commercial projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to design specifications. He supervises contractors, material suppliers, and the Rusin Commercial Concrete team, while maintaining a strong focus on quality control and safety compliance.
Mike’s extensive background includes overseeing large-scale projects across various sectors, including residential, healthcare, and industrial developments. His hands-on experience in managing complex construction processes, coordinating with owners, architects, and engineers, and ensuring project adherence to all regulations has equipped him with the expertise to handle a wide range of commercial concrete projects. Mike’s leadership ensures that each project is executed with precision, meeting both client expectations and industry standards.
In addition to his leadership experience, Mike holds several certifications including OSHA 10-Hour, Qualified Rigger, and Certified Post-Tension Installer. Jim Cosgrave is an experienced Safety Director at Rusin Concrete, bringing over two decades of expertise in occupational safety and health management. With 23+ years in the construction industry, his vast experience spans a wide range of sectors, including healthcare, higher education, sports arenas, and mixed-use developments. Jim’s comprehensive background allows him to effectively navigate the complexities of safety protocols across various project types and environments.
A member of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) and the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, Jim holds several certifications that reinforce his commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards. He holds an Associate’s degree in Risk and Safety Management, is a certified Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST), and is an OSHA 500 Authorized Trainer.
